Once you make reservation for an apartment (or any other type of accommodation), you will be asked to complete online forms providing for name, (home or office) address, (business or private) email address, (mobile, home or office) telephone number, credit card details (i.e. credit card type and number, expiration date, credit card holder name) and to the extent available, reservation preferences, smoking preference amongst others..

Such information is required to process, book and complete reservations (including receiving a confirmation email as a result of the booking confirmation).

What we do with the information we gather?

We require such information to understand your needs and to also ensure we provide better service based on the following reasons:

  • Internal record keeping.
  • Utilize the information to improve products and services.
  • Pperiodically send promotional emails on new locations, special offers or other information which we think you may find interesting using the email address which has been provided.
  • From time to time, we may use your information to connect and contact other Clients for market research and survey purposes which could be done via email, phone, fax etc. We may also use the information provided to customise the website in line with our Client’s interests.

Reservation enquiries: For the purposes of completing bookings and save for disclosures required by law, criminal investigations, subpoenas or court orders, we will only disclose your name, contact details and the credit card details to the relevant apartment provider with which a booking is made. However, please note that from time to time, we may use third party distributors which provide certain services and functions for and on our behalf. These third-party distributors may have access to some of our client’s personal information in order to perform their services and functions, but remain subject to a confidentiality obligation pursuant to which they cannot use, share or disclose the information for any other purpose.

Newsletters and other information: In the event you wish to subscribe for our newsletters or wishes to receive promotional communications or other information from us (relating to other services and locations), we shall first offer you the option to “Opt in” for this service. In the event you no longer wish to receive our newsletter and other promotional communications, you shall be at liberty to simply click on the unsubscribe link available at the bottom of each email.

When should Shortlets & Cribs send you email Notifications?

After you have made an enquiry, you will receive a confirmation message with all the information about your enquiry. Once the short let provider has confirmed availability as well as prices, we will send you a confirmation email and instructions on how to place your booking. Prior to your arrival date we may send you an email which may include information on your destination and may provide certain information and offers (including third party offers to the extent that you have actively opted in for this information) relevant to your booking and destination. To the extent that you have “Opted in” you may receive our newsletter or other information from time to time.
